Sports Authority’s Going out of Business Sale is Underway

Sports Authority has announced it will be going out of business, after recently filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The sporting goods retailer plans to close all of its locations by the end of August, CEO Michael Foss said in a statement.

Until then, shoppers can take advantage of the liquidation sale, with savings of up to 30% on athletic apparel and equipment storewide.

Existing warranties are still valid, and the retailer will honor gift cards through June 28. However, Sports Authority credit cards and loyalty rewards are no longer valid.

Orders of $39 or more ship for free. All sales are final.
